영유아 보조교사 관련 국내 연구동향 분석

Domestic Research Trends Related to Assistant Teachers

목적 본 연구는 영유아 보조교사 관련 국내 연구물의 동향을 살펴봄으로써, 보조교사에 대한 종합적인 이해를 제공하고 후속 연구의 방향성과 정책적 개선점을 논의하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 보조교사를 주제로 처음 연구가 수행된 2008년부터 최신인 2023년까지 발간된 총 43편의 학술지 및 학위논문을 연구대상으로 선정하여 연구의 시기, 자료수집방법, 연구대상, 연구주제에 따른 연구 내용과 빈도를 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 보조교사 관련 연구물은 2008년에 처음 발간되어 16년 동안 한 해 평균 약 3.3편씩 총 43편의 연구가 수행되었다. 둘째, 보조교사 관련 연구물은 다양한 자료수집방법을 통해 수행되었고, 그중에서도 면담과 설문이 높은 빈도로 활용되었다. 셋째, 보조교사 관련 연구물은 교직원(보조교사, 교사, 원장 등)을 중심으로 수행되었고, 예비교사나 부모를 연구대상으로 포함하는 연구물은 부재하다. 넷째, 보조교사 관련 연구물의 주제는 보조교사의 경험, 보조교사의 역할, 보조교사 지원제도, 보조교사에 대한 인식, 보조교사 실태조사로 나타났다. 결론 위의 연구결과를 토대로 보조교사 지원제도의 시사점과 정책적 개선 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of assistant teachers and to discuss the direction and policy improvements of subsequent studies by analyzing the trends of domestic research related to assistant teachers. Methods A total of 43 academic journals and thesis published from 2008 when the research on assistant teachers first began to the latest 2023 were selected to analyze the research content and frequency according to the research period, data collection method, research subject, and research topic. Results The results of this study are as follows. First, the research related to assistant teachers was first published in 2008, and a total of 43 studies were conducted for 16 years, with an average of about 3.3 studies per year. Second, research related to assistant teachers was conducted through various data collection methods, and among them, interviews and surveys were used with high frequency. Third, research related to assistant teachers was conducted mainly on faculty members (assistant teachers, teachers, principals, etc.), and there are no research materials that include pre-service teachers or parents. Fourth, the subjects of research related to assistant teachers were the experience of assistant teachers, the role of assistant teachers, the assistant teachers support system, the perception of assistant teachers, and the actual condition survey of assistant teachers. Conclusions Based on these results, the implications of the assistant teacher support system and the direction of policy improvement were discussed.
