This study focused on the news production volume of media, personal current affairs, and personal general channels that coexist on social media after the confirmation of political rumors. It also examined user reactions according to sentiments expressed in video titles. The decline in personal general channels was large after the confirmation, but personal current affairs channels were not affected by authenticity. Analysis of right-wing patterns of comments, users of personal current affairs channels responded more actively to titles that express positive/negative sentiments than neutral titles. However, the study found no significant changes in media videos. This study emphasizes the need for news producers to verify political rumors and the critical participation of users.
