Integrated Medical Care Support Project for Elderly Focusing on Visiting Medical Service

The government is implementing a pilot project to provide integrated medical care support for the elderly to continue living in the community, and the importance of visiting medical services is increasing. This study was conducted through a literature review, including previous research data, central government announcements such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and media reports. In order for the elderly to continue living in the community, home visit medical services such as 1) home medical centers and 2) home visit medical support centers will be strengthened. The activation of home-visit medical services is a very important factor in the continued residence of the elderly in the community.
