최근 몇 년간 중국의 크루즈 시장은 폭발적인 성장을 보였으며, 그 중에서도 상하이를 중심으로 한 장강 삼각주 지역은 크루즈 경제 발전의 선두주자이다. 2011년 개항 이래, 우쑹커우 국제 크루즈 항구의 발전은 초기 구상 및 건설, 개항 초기, 빠른 발전과 시설 업그레이드, 최적화 및 브랜드 향상의 네 가지 시기를 거치며 점차 세계 주요 크루즈 모항 중 하나로 발전하였다. 상하이 우쑹커우 국제 크루즈 항구의 크루즈 접대 횟수와 관광객 수는 아시아 1위, 세계 4위를 기록하고 있다. 이는 중국이 미국에 이어 세계에서 두 번째로 큰 크루즈 여행 시장이자 세계 최대의 신흥 크루즈 시장으로 성장하도록 촉진하였으며, 또한 국제 크루즈 경제가 ‘중국 시대’에 진입하도록 더욱 추진하였다. 본 논문은 상하이 우쑹커우 크루즈 항구의 발전 현황과 규모에 대한 연구를 통해 상하이 크루즈 항구의 발전 상황을 논의하였으며, 이는 지역 경제 성장, 국가의 국제 이미지 및 경제력 향상뿐만 아니라 글로벌 크루즈 시장과 국제 경제 협력에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 발견하였다. 또한 이는 향후 크루즈 관광 발전 계획 수립에 기초를 제공하였다.

In recent years, China’s cruise market has exploded, and the Yangtze River Delta region as the core is the leader of cruise economic development. Since the opening of the port in 2011, the development of Wusongkou Cruise Port has undergone four periods of initial planning and construction, early opening of the port, rapid development and upgrading of facilities. Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port has the highest number of cruise ships and tourist reception in Asia and the fourth in the world. Promote China to become the world’s second largest cruise source market after the United States and the world’s largest cruise emerging market, and further promote the international cruise economy into the “China era”. This paper discusses the development of Shanghai cruise port through the research on the development status and scale of Wusongkou cruise port in Shanghai, and finds that it not only promotes the growth of local economy, but also boosts national image and economic strength.
