
L2 학습자를 위한 전공 연계 글쓰기(WAC) 교육과정 개발 연구 - 한국어교육학 전공 교수자 및 학습자 대상 요구 분석을 중심으로
Development of a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) for L2 Learners: A Needs Analysis of Instructors and Students in Korean Language Education
This study aims to develop a curriculum integrating Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) to enhance the major-specific writing skills of international students in the Korean Language Education major. Focus group interviews were conducted with three professors and six graduates to analyze WAC-related needs and contextual factors. The WAC approach was applied to the four-year curriculum for international students, designating courses from subject areas 1 to 5 of the Korean Language Teacher Qualification Program as Writing Intensive (WI) courses. Additionally, writing tasks were divided into writing to learn (WTL) and writing in the discipline (WID) tasks, and the proficiency levels and assignment weights for each grade level were presented in a step-by-step manner.
