Purpose - This research aims to analyze the economic value of solar panels in design by focusing on 3D visualization. Design/Methodology/Approach - This research used a pre-cautionary saving model to analyze the investment in designed solar panels with uncertainty. This research used a 3D visualization technique with Python and API (Application Programming Interface). Findings - The result showed that the solar panel in design attained economic value for investment with uncertainty under some conditions. 3D visualization showed the area of profitable investment in a non-linear plane. Research Implications - Interest in eco-friendly energy sources like solar power is growing, yet current solar panels lack design elements, focusing solely on energy output for economic value estimation. Investing in design improvements for solar panels introduces uncertainty about economic viability. However, extending the analysis to 3D visualization demonstrates that investing in design can still be a rational decision despite these uncertainties. This is supported by numerical analysis and 3D visualization using Python, which better illustrates the rational and irrational investment zones as compared to 2D visualizations. Additionally, Python automates the analysis of key variables such as sunlight hours and base interest rates using APIs, enhancing the accuracy of the analysis.
