
Enhancing public health emergency prevention and control education in medical colleges: current status, challenges, and strategies

The emergency prevention and control capability in public health is an integral part of modern medical education. It not only pertains to the rapid response and effective management of public health emergencies but also concerns the health and safety of the entire society. Medical colleges and universities, as key bases for cultivating talents in emergency prevention and control, bear significant responsibilities in enhancing the capabilities of professionals, optimizing training programs, and curriculum systems. This article, through extensive literature review and reference to relevant materials, systematically describes the current state of emergency prevention and control management education in public health emergencies in medical colleges and universities in China. At the same time, it deeply analyzes the deficiencies and challenges in the current education system and, based on this, proposes feasible measures and suggestions for improvement.
公共卫生应急防控能力是现代医学教育的重要组成部分,不仅涉及对突发公共卫生事件的快速响应和有效管理,还关系到整个社会的健康和安全。医学院校作为培养应急防控人才的重要基地,其在提升专业人才能力、优化培养方案和课程体系方面肩负着重要责任。本文通过广泛查阅文献和相关资料,系统地描述了我国医学院校在突发公共卫生事件应急防控管理教育方面的现状。同时,深入分析了当前教育体系中存在的不足和面临的挑战,并在此基础上提出了切实可行的改进措施和建议。
