Analysis of the Influencing Factors of Manufacturing Export Trade in Shandong Province under the Background of Global Supply Chain

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to explore the influencing factors of manufacturing export trade in Shandong Province in the context of global supply chain. Design/Methodology/Approach - Based on the connotation of “high-quality development of manufacturing industry”, this paper analyzes the development of manufacturing export trade in Shandong Province under the background of global supply chain and the current situation of manufacturing export trade in Shandong Province, and uses Stata17 to establish a multiple regression model of each component and influencing factor to quantitatively compare the impact of different factors on the export value of manufacturing commodities in Shandong Province, and studies the impact of global supply chain system on manufacturing export trade in the context of manufacturing industry. Findings - This paper finds that a sound global supply chain system can improve the export competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises, and the export trade volume of manufacturing in Shandong Province is negatively correlated with the per capita disposable income of the province and the average annual exchange rate of RMB, and positively correlated with China’s GDP. Research Implications - The results of this study are helpful to further analyze the promotion and constraints of manufacturing export trade in Shandong Province, further enrich the theoretical system of manufacturing development at the theoretical level, and put forward valuable policy suggestions for Shandong Province to improve the development of manufacturing export trade at the practical level.
