This study aims to investigate the satisfaction and learning strategies of Korean university students and present the developmental direction of online English learning in the post-corona era. In this study, data were collected from 161 participants at K University in Chungnam, who took online English classes. Learner satisfaction and learning strategies were examined with a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The results revealed that most participants were satisfied with online learning platform and system, instructor’s lecture methods, learning outcomes. However, learning motivation and participation were relatively lower than others. Next, the most commonly used learning strategy in online learning was searching for data on the Internet, while the least used strategy was to share learning experiences and information with others. Third, correlation analysis was conducted to find out how online learning satisfaction is related to using learning strategies. Four factors for satisfaction and one factor for learning strategy show a statistically significant positive correlation. In order to analyze differences according to gender and grade, the t-test and ANOVA one-way variance analysis were performed, and there was no significant gender difference but there was a significant difference by grade in the perception of learning platforms and systems and instructor’s teaching methods.
