통신언어에서의 비속어 담화 분석 - 대학생들의 카카오톡 언어를 중심으로

Slang words discourse analysis in communication language : Focusing on University students’ KakaoTalk language

본 연구는 대학생들의 카카오톡에서의 대화 내용을 중심으로 비속어 양상을 분석하여 무분별하게 확산되고 있는 비속어 사용에 대한 원인과 양태를 살펴보고 우리말에 대한 가치를 일깨우기 위한 것이 목적이다. 비속어 양상은 크게 두 가지로 나타났다. 첫째, 코라적 공간에서의 경계 소멸 현상을 볼 수 있었다. 우선 가부장적 언어가 소멸되고 있는 현상으로, 이는 시대가 빠르게 변화하고 이에 따른 사회.문화적 의식의변화로 모성이나 여성에 대한 가부장적 의식이 사라지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 젠더적 권력 양상의 소멸로, 이는 스마트폰이 활성화되면서 불특정 다수에 대한 비속어 사용이 증가하거나 남.녀 함께 있는 단톡방에서의 대화로 인해 특정 성별에 대한성적 비하나 성차별적 언어가 사라지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 리좀적 형태의 변이 양상인데, 비속어의 형태가 축약어, 합성어, 신조어, 자.모음변형 등으로 다양화 되면서 기존의 의미를 가볍고 무질서한 담론으로 만들고있다. 자음이나 모음을 변형시켜 낯설게 만들거나 언어유희로 사용함으로서 남들과다른 새로운 언어를 사용하는 것에 대한 흥미를 느끼고 있는 것이다. 이렇듯 비속어의무분별한 생성은 수직적 의미 생성이 아니라, 수평적 의미 생성 구조를 형성하며 무한히 확산되고 있음을 살펴보았다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the patterns of profanity in college stu dents’ conversations on KakaoTalk, examine the causes and patterns of the indis criminate use of Slang words raise awareness of the value of the Korean language There were two main types of Slang words. First, the phenomenon of boundary disappearance in the chora space could be seen. First of all, it is a phenomenon in which patriarchal language is disappearing. It can be seen that this is a phenomenon in which patriarchal consciousness about motherhood and women is disappearing due to the rapid change of times and the resulting changes in social and cultural consciousness. And with the disappearance of gendered power aspects, this means that with the activation of smartphones, the use of slang against unspecified people increases, or that sexual derogatory or sexist language against a specific gender is disappearing due to conversations in group chat rooms where men and women are together. Second, there is the aspect of variation in rhizomatic form. As the forms of slang words are diversified into abbreviations, compound words, new words, consonant or vowel transformations, etc., existing meanings are turning into light and disor derly discourse. They are interested in using a new language that is different from others by modifying consonants or vowels to make them unfamiliar or using them as a Pun. In this way, we observed that the indiscriminate creation of slang words does not create vertical meaning, but forms a horizontal meaning creation structure and is spreading infinitely.
