唐代部分蕃将家族族属难以判定的原因 - 基于契丹王武俊家族的个案思考

The Reason why it is Difficult to Judge the Identity of some Fanjiang Families in the Tang Dynasty : Based on the Case study of the Khitan Wang Wujun family－

During the Tang Dynasty, there were many ethnic groups in the north, with similar activities, customs and habits, and frequent exchanges, which made the determination of ethnic group in this period a complicated and difficult problem to solve. Wang Wujun's family mainly has “Khitan theory” “Xi theory” and “Huihu theory”. After careful research, it was found that the correct nationality should be Khitan. The main reasons for the divergence are the confusion of historical records, the attachment of ethnic groups and the integration of ethnic groups. This paper systematically summarizes and evaluates the three main theories of Wang Wujun's family, and further discusses the problem according to the literature records and the inscription data. It is helpful to further the research of the Khitan Wang Wujun's family, and also has certain reference significance for the determination of the northern nationality in the Tang Dynasty.
