일반계 고등학교에서 체육계열 전문교과 운영 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

A phenomenological study on the experience of operating specialized subjects in physical education in general high schools

연구목적 이 연구는 일반계 고등학교에서 체육계열 전문교과의 효과적 운영을 위해 현재 상황을 인식하고 어려움을 분석하여 개선방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법 일반계 고등학교에서 체육계열 전문교과 운영 경험이 있는 체육교사 5인을 대상으로 콜라이지(Colaizzi)의 현상학적 분석 방법을 활용하여 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 체육계열 전문교과는 전문실기 과목의 필요성과 진로진학을 위한 심화학습으로 인식하고 있었다. 공교육의 범위를 확장하고 실기능력을 함양할 수 있으며, 무학년제 통합 수업을 기반으로 체육계열 진로진학 지도가 가능하다고 보았다. 둘째, 과목 개설의 번거로움, 부족한 예산지원, 복잡한 수업 여건으로 인한 척박한 수업 환경과 임의적 수업 적용, 수업 자료의 부족으로 인해 부족한 수업 사례를 체육계열 전문교과 운영의 어려움으로 도출하였다. 셋째, 체육계열 전문교과의 지속적인 운영을 위해 맟춤형교육을 위한 교사의 의지가 선행되고, 학습자 중심의 선택과목 운영이 필요하다 보았다. 결론 결론적으로 향후 2022 개정 교육과정에서 체육계열 전문교과는 보통교과 선택과목으로 전환되어 일반계 고등학생들에게 접근성이 좋아진 만큼 체육계열 전문교과의 운영 경험을 통해 더욱 효과적인 운영 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to recognize the current situation, analyze the difficulties, and propose improvement measures for the effective operation of specialized subjects in physical education in general high schools. Methods: This study utilized Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method to draw conclusions from five physical education teachers who had experience of operating specialized subjects in physical education in a general high school. Results: First, the specialty departments recognized the need for specialized practical subjects and in-depth training for career advancement. Secondly, the cases of poor teaching due to cumbersome course organization, insufficient budgetary support, harsh teaching environment due to complex teaching conditions, arbitrary application of teaching, and lack of teaching materials were identified as difficulties in the operation of specialized subjects in physical education. Third, it was concluded that teachers' willingness to personalize education and learner-centered elective courses are necessary for the continued operation of specialized subjects in physical education. Conclusion: In conclusion, in the upcoming 2022 revised curriculum, physical education specialty courses will be more accessible to students as general education electives, so it is necessary to find more effective ways to operate them through the experience of operating specialized subjects in physical education.
