The “rural revitalization strategy” was initially introduced in the 2017 report of the 19th CPC National Congress. Its primary objective is to achieve a holistic revitalization by elevating rural area development and construction to a new level and priority, with an initial focus on spurring economic growth in China's rural regions. As an invaluable intangible cultural heritage of the Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and a pillar industry in Xichou County, throwing flower embroidery has confronted the risk of fading away in recent times due to significant shifts in contemporary society and lifestyles. To revitalize the tradition of throwing flower embroidery, this paper delves into its current development status, pinpoints the prevailing issues, and outlines a fresh approach for its rejuvenation. It underscores the significance of policy guidance and backing, cultural inheritance coupled with innovation, industrial integration and growth, education, training, and talent nurturing, along with societal engagement in the creation and dissemination of throwing flower embroidery culture.Furthermore, inheritance plays a pivotal role in preserving the customary non-heritage culture, addressing the issue of rural depopulation, fostering rural economic advancement, and encouraging rural rejuvenation.
