This study explores the application of parameterized structures and 3D printing in modern furniture design, particularly for sitting and sleeping furniture. Through literature analy- sis, case studies, and field research, five design cases were analyzed in depth. The research highlights that combining parametric design with 3D printing offers high flexibility and in- novation, enabling unique appearances and complex shapes. This technology significantly en- hances customization and user experience, allowing for highly personalized furniture and im- proving design efficiency through rapid prototyping. Furthermore, the diverse and sustainable material usage in 3D printing opens new avenues for environmentally friendly furniture design. The study emphasizes that this combination fosters innovation in design concepts and methods, providing new directions and possibilities for modern furniture design. However, the research al- so identifies limitations in case selection and operational challenges, which require further ex- ploration and resolution in future studies.
