이주배경학생 대상 창작뮤지컬 교육 프로그램 사례 연구 : 창작뮤지컬 <기후 행동, 지금 당장>을 중심으로

A Case Study of a Creative Musical Education Program for Immigrant Background Students : Focusing on the Creative Musical 'Climate Action, Right Now'

본 연구는 창작뮤지컬 교육 프로그램이 이주배경학생의 정서에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 교육 프로그램 수강생 8명과 예술강사 4명을 대상으로 한 심층인터뷰를 채택하였고, 사례는 사단법인 희망디딤돌의 창작 뮤지컬 교육 프로그램인 ‘기후 행동, 지금 당장’을 선택하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램에 참여한 청소년들은 자기 효능감이 향상되고 공격성, 우울증, 사회적 위축 등의 증세가 감소하였다. 둘째, 문화 다양성에 대한 이해가 확대되어 다양한 문화적 차이를 수용하는 태도를 보였다. 셋째, 자기 지향적·자기 관리적 역량이 증대되어 문제해결 능력과 진로 설정에 있어 주도적인 태도를 가지게 되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과가 주는 시사점은 첫째, 전문적인 창작뮤지컬 교사의 육성이 필요하다. 둘째, 이주배경학생 대상 창작뮤지컬 교육의 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 지역사회와의 협력이 요구된다.

This study aimed to analyze the impact of a creative musical education program on the emotions of immigrant background students. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 participants from the education program and 4 art instructors, focusing on the original musical education program 'Climate Action, Right Now' offered by the Hope Stepping Stone Association. The research findings are as follows: First, the youth who participated in the program showed an improvement in self-efficacy, and symptoms of aggression, depression, and social withdrawal decreased. Second, there was an expanded understanding of cultural diversity, leading to a more accepting attitude towards various cultural differences. Third, self-directed and self-management competencies increased, resulting in a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and career planning. The implications of these findings are: First, there is a need for the training of professional creative musical educators. Second, to maximize the effectiveness of creative musical education for immigrant background students, collaboration with the local community is essential.
