학점은행제 원격평생교육원의 ‘외국어로서의 한국어학 전공’의 문제와 개선 방안 연구

A Study on Problems and Improvement of Distance Academic Credit Bank System for Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language

이 연구는 최근 한국어교원의 급격한 증가의 주된 원인이 되고 있는 원격기반 학점은행제 교육기관의 ‘외국어로서의 한국어학 전공’에 대해 기관의 질적 향상과 학습자의 전문성 향상을 위한 방안 제시를 목표로 하고 있다.이를 위해 한국어교원자격제도와 학점은행제도의 현황을 살펴보고, 현재까지 여러 연구 결과를 통해 제시된 문제점을 파악하여 이를 해결하기 위한 방안을 모색할 계획이다. 전문적 지식을 갖춘 한국어교원을 양성하기 위해서는 제도적인 측면에서 이를 보완해야 할 것이다. 결국 제도적인 보완이란 교육기관과 교육 프로그램의 질적 향상이 필요하다. 이 논문은 제도적 측면에서 해결 방안을 제안하기 위해 네 가지 방안을 제시하였다.

This study aims to suggest methods to improve the quality of institutions and the academic expertise of students of “Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language” of the Distance Academic Credit Bank System. It reviews, the present status of the Korean Teacher Qualification System and Academic Credit Bank System. Further, this study identifies the problems of these systems, which are discussed in many studies, and suggests relevant solutions. The problems should be institutionally supplemented to train Korean teachers who have expert knowledge. Institutional supplement refers to the qualitative improvement of educational institutes and programs. This study further suggests four methods to solve the problems from the institutional aspect.
