草書에서 ‘足’ 의미 字素의 자형과 자의 解釋

Interpretation of the shapes and meanings of letters that have the meaning of '足' in Choseo shapes(草書)

본고에서는 전서나 예서 자형의 틀을 벗어난 초서의 자형에 대하여『章草大典』을 중심으로 자형 구조의 변화를 살펴보았다. 그럼으로써 본고에서 주요 연구 대상으로 삼은 ‘足’義를 가지는 대표적인 字素인 夂, 止, 癶, 走, 辵, 廴, 彳, 疋, 舛 및 관련 한자들의 초서 자형과 자의에 대하여 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있었고, 이를 통하여 단순히 符號化된 필획으로 보이는 草書 자형도 일정한 규정을 찾아 자의를 설명할 수 있었다. 초서 자형이 시간의 축적과 함께 정보가 쌓여 글자의 자형에 일정한 범주가 발생하고, 이에 따라 초서 자형에 대한 자의 설명을 할 수 있게 된 것이다. 이러한 연구는 이들 초서 자형들에 대하여 예술 작품으로서만 이해하는 것이 아니라, 문자 자형으로서도 분석하고 해석하였다는 것은 그 의의가 깊다고 할 수 있다. 다만 초서 자형은 다른 서체만큼이나 異體字도 많고, 간략성이 매우 심화되어 전서나 예서 등의 글자체보다 더욱 많은 同形字가 발견되는 데, 본고에서는 이들에 대하여 편폭의 제한과 자료 축적의 부족 등으로 인하여 미처 깊이 있는 논의를 충분히 하지 못하였다. 이는 추후 연구 과제로 남겨두기로 하고 앞으로 더욱 많은 초서 자형 연구 성과들이 풍성하게 축적되기를 기대한다.

The type of Choseo shapes(草書) included in the Chinese Internet site and Choseo font(草書) autobiography was referenced. Looking at the changes in the shape structure, he paid attention to the regularity of the Choseo shapes(草書). The specific changes in the shape were explained voluntarily. The main research subjects of this paper were 夂, 止, 癶, 走, 辵, 足, 舛, 廴, 素, and 彳, which are representative Chinese character 疋 with '足' meaning, and the Choseo shapes(草書) and characters of related Chinese characters. Although these letters appear to be irregularly changed strokes, the rules of these strokes also occurred according to the accumulation of time. The meaning of the letters for these Choseo shapes was explained. These Choseo shapes were not only understood as works of art, but they were also able to find their meaning as letters. This is the deep significance of this paper. However, the Choseo type has as many diverse letters as other typefaces, and its simplicity has been greatly deepened. However, Choseo shapes have various shapes of letters. And this has become very simplistic. In Choseo, more of the same characters are found than other font. In this paper, it was not possible to discuss them due to the limitations of the width and the lack of data accumulation. This will be left as a future research project. We hope that more Choseo research results will be accumulated in the future.
