새롭게 바라보는 2세 영아의 디지털 카메라 놀이: 발현적 경청의 관점을 통해

A new look at the digital camera of a 2-year-old infant: Through the perspective of expressive listening

본 연구는 2세 영아의 디지털 카메라 놀이 경험이 어떠한 의미를 지니는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2022년 10월부터 2023년 1월까지 산새소리반 만 2세 영아 7명을 연구 참여자로 연구를 진행하였다. 약 4개월 동안 원장이자 연구자로 디지털 카메라 놀이를 하는 2세 영아의 경험을 사진, 동영상, 놀이기록, 연구자의 저널, 면담자료 등으로 수집하였다. 수집한 자료를 분석하고 글쓰기 과정에서 연구자는 끊임없이 회절적 사유를 하며 2세 영아의 놀이 경험을 의미있게 드러내고자 하였다. 연구 결과 영아 놀이에 대한 가르침, 의미, 사회성에 대한 연구자의 편견이 있음을 발견하였다. 연구자는 영아 놀이를 들여다보며 영아 놀이에 대한 편견을 넘어서 발현적 경청의 자세가 중요한 부분임을 인식하였다. 본 연구는 디지털 카메라 놀이를 향유하는 영아의 놀이를 통해 영아는 놀이의 주체이자 생성자라는 것을 밝혔다. 또한 영아와 함께하는 교사는 영아에 대해 지녔던 관점과 태도를 새롭게 하며 영아 놀이의 교육적 가치를 드러낼 수 있어야 함을 시사하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning of a two-year-old infant's digital camera play experience. The study was conducted involving seven two-year-old infants in the class of 'Sansaesori' from October 2022 to January 2023. As a director and researcher, the experiences of a two-year-old infant engaging in digital camera play were collected through photographs, videos, journals, and interview data for approximately four months. In the process of analyzing the collected data and writing, the researcher constantly thought diffractively and tried to reveal the play experience of a two-year-old infant in a meaningful way. As a result of the study, it was found that there had been a researcher's prejudice against the teaching, meaning, and sociality of infant play. Looking into infant play, the researcher recognized that the attitude of emergent listening which goes beyond prejudice against infant play was a significant part. By looking into the play of infants who enjoy digital camera play, this study revealed that infants are the subject and creator of play. It also suggested that teachers with infants should be able to reveal the educational value of infant play by renewing their perspectives and attitudes toward infants.
