The Effect of Tourism Factors on Tourism Activities and Tourism Satisfaction in Multicultural Families

This study aims to analyze the relationships between tourism factors, tourism activities, and tourism satisfaction among multicultural families through empirical research. A literature review was conducted to identify relevant theories and derive measurement items related to tourism factors, tourism activities, and tourism satisfaction. Based on these measurement items, empirical data collection was carried out from March 23 to April 22, 2020. The target population of the survey included all multicultural families currently residing in South Korea. A total of 244 valid responses, excluding invalid surveys, were used for empirical analysis, collected through both online and offline methods. The results of this study confirm that tourism factors significantly influence tourism activities among multicultural families, and that these tourism activities, in turn, affect tourism satisfaction. Additionally, it has been verified that tourism factors have a direct impact on tourism satisfaction. This suggests that tourism can contribute to the early settlement of multicultural families in Korea, which may play a meaningful role in addressing the rapidly declining population issue.
