성인 상담라포와 상담회기평가 간 관계에서 작업동맹의 매개효과

The Mediation Effect of Working Alliance on the Relationship between Adult Counseling Rapport and Counseling Session Evaluation

목적 본 연구는 내담자를 대상으로 상담라포와 상담회기평가 간 관계에서 작업동맹의 매개효과를 확인하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 이를 통해 내담자가 경험하는 상담라포와 작업동맹의 긍정적인 측면과 부정적인 측면을 상담 및 교육에 활용할 수 있는 자료로 제공하고자 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 국가자격 및 상담관련 학회 자격을 소지한 상담자에게 현재 상담을 받고 있는 전국의 성인 내담자 220명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 상담라포 척도, 상담회기평가 척도, 작업동맹 척도를 사용하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 SPSS Process Macro v4.1로 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과 첫째, 상담라포, 작업동맹 및 상담회기평가 사이의 관계를 나타내는 구조모형이 자료에 적합하다는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 상담라포가 작업동맹에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 상담라포아 상담회기평가 간 관계를 작업동맹이 완전매개하였다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 내담자의 상담라포가 긍정적으로 형성될수록 상담자와의 더욱 견고한 작업동맹의 형성으로 이어져 결론적으로 상담회기평가가 긍정적으로 나타나게 하는 데 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 초기 상담에서 상담라포와 작업동맹을 구축할 수 있는 상담자의 능력이 상담성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 데 매우 중요한 요소가 된다는 것을 보여주기 때문에 상담자 교육과 훈련과정의 중요성을 시사할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effect of the working alliance on the relationship between counseling rapport and counseling session evaluation among clients. Through this, the aim is to provide data that can be utilized in counseling and education by highlighting both the positive and negative aspects of counseling rapport and the working alliance experienced by clients. Methods To this end, a study was conducted on 220 adult clients nationwide who were currently receiving counseling from counselors who had national qualifications and counseling-related academic qualifications. The Counseling Rapport Scale, Counseling Session Evaluation Scale, and Working Alliance Scale were used, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and SPSS Process Macro v4.1. Results The research results are as follows: First, the structural model depicting the relationships among counseling rapport, working alliance, and session evaluation was confirmed to be suitable for the data. Second, counseling rapport was found to have a positive impact on the working alliance. Third, counseling rapport was analyzed to influence session evaluation through the mediation of the working alliance. Consequently, it was established that counseling rapport affects session evaluation not only directly but also indirectly through the working alliance Conclusions The results of this study indicate that as counseling rapport positively forms, it leads to a stronger working alliance with the counselor, which in turn positively influences session evaluations. The ability of counselors to establish counseling rapport and a working alliance in initial sessions is shown to be a crucial factor in positively affecting counseling outcomes. This underscores the importance of counselor education and training programs.
