조선시대 사헌부 제좌청 다례의 콘텐츠 제재(題材) 연구

A Study Presenting Contents for Tea Ceremony at Jae-Jwa Office of the Inspection Department in the Joseon Dynasty

본고는 인간의 생명과 가치를 부여하는데 존엄성을 지니고 있는 다시제도(茶時制度)를 조명하여 콘텐츠 시대 속에 새로운 차문화를 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 『조선왕조실록』, 『일성록』, 『용재총화』 등에 기록되어 있는 조선시대 사헌부 제좌청 소재를 중심으로 문헌적 근거를 제시하였다. 사헌부에서의 다시제도는 고려시대부터 시작되어 조선말까지 유지되었던 깊은 역사를 지니고 있다. 그리고 중대한 사안을 논의하기 전에 차 한 잔으로 마음을 바르게 가다듬었던 것은 인명존엄성에 대한 고귀한 철학을 지니고 있는 차문화이다. 조선시대 사헌부 제좌청에서 차탕을 음다하는 순서는 봉약집종(奉藥執鍾, 약을 받들고 잔을 잡으라)-정음(正飮, 마신다)-방약(放藥, 약을 놓으라)이다. 이후 정좌정공사(正坐正公事, 바르게 앉아 공사를 바르게 행하라)하면 제좌청으로 돌아가 직무를 행하였다. 이는 차를 마시고 맑은 정신으로 임무를 행하였던 제좌청 다례의 핵심이다. 이처럼 사헌부 제좌청 다례는 인명 존엄성을 지키고자 했던 우수한 차문화 콘텐츠 소재이다. 그리고 우리나라 차문화의 우수한 가치를 세계로 창출할 수 있는 귀중한 원천소스를 가지고 있다. 콘텐츠 작업구성은 제좌청의 다례를 재현하고자 시나리오를 작성하여 완성도를 높였다. 본고는 다시제도(茶時制度)의 문화원형을 지속시키기 위해 차문화 콘텐츠로 나타내고 더불어 우수한 전통문화 유산의 토대를 마련하였다.

The purpose of this study consists of presenting a new tea culture in the content era by illuminating the Tea Time System, which values human life and dignity. The research was conducted to present a literary basis, focusing on the materials from the Jae-Jwa Office of the Inspection Department in the Joseon Dynasty that are recorded in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, Ilseongrok, Yongjae Chonghwa, among others. The Tea Time System in the Inspection Department has a deep and long history that began in the Goryeo Dynasty and was maintained until the end of the Joseon Dynasty. The officials gathered their thoughts with a bowl of tea before discussing serious issues, which suggests that this tea culture has a noble philosophy of human dignity. The order of drinking tea at the Jae-Jwa Office was “Bongyak Jipjong (accept the medicine and grab the bowl),” “Jeongeum (drink),” and “Bangyak (put the bowl down).” After that, when an Ajeon, a lower-level official, shouted “Jeongjwajeongsa (Sit up straight and perform the public affairs properly),” the officials returned to the Jae-Jwa Office and performed their duties. The core of the tea ceremony at the Tea Time Office is that the officials drank a bowl of tea before performing their duties with a clear mind. This is an excellent source of tea culture content that can publicize the efforts and achievements of our ancestors to protect the dignity of human life. And this is a valuable source that can highlight the excellent value of Korean tea culture to the world. The content development work was carried out in the process of enhancing the completeness by writing a scenario to reproduce the tea ceremony at the Jae-Jwa Office. This paper has presented it as tea culture content in order to preserve the cultural prototype of the Tea Time System and has laid the foundation for an excellent traditional cultural heritage with this.
