목적: 본 연구는 고등학생 재미 한국어 계승어 학습자 63명의 작문을 분석하여 빈번하게 발생하는 오류와 그 원인, 오류 발생 패턴의 특징, 한국어 학습에 영향을 미치는 요인, 성인 학습자 집단과의 차이를 알아보았다. 방법: 1년 동안 학습자들의 작문 388편, 단원 평가 시험지 567부, 워크북 63권, 이메일과 편지 22건을 수집하여 어휘 오류와 문법 오류를 절차에 따라 분석하였다. 결과: 주요 오류로 철자 오류, 단어 대응 오류, 부사 ‘같이/함께’ 오류, 영어식 표현 오류, 복수 표지 ‘-들’ 오류, 연결 어미 ‘-(으)러’ 오류, 시제 오류, ‘저/제’와 ‘-아/어/해요’ 오류, ‘-이에요/예요’ 오류, 접속 조사 ‘-하고’ 오류, 조사 오류를 확인하였다. 결론: 어휘, 문법, 문장 구조 등 다양한 영역에서 학습자들의 주 언어인 영어가 한국어 학습에 미치는 간섭 현상을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 학습자가 영어의 규칙과 체계를 한국어에 적용하여 발생하였고, 영어와 한국어의 어휘, 문법, 어순, 발음 등의 차이로 인한 오류가 두드러지게 나타났다.
Purpose: This study aims to analyze the writing of 63 Korean heritage learners in high school to identify frequent errors, their causes, distinctive error patterns, factors influencing Korean language learning, and differences compared to adult learners. Methods: Over the course of one year, 388 essays, 567 unit test papers, 63 workbooks, and 22 emails and letters were collected from the learners. Vocabulary and grammar errors were analyzed following a systematic procedure. Results: The main errors identified were spelling mistakes, word correspondence errors (e.g., play: 놀다), word correspondence errors (e.g., have: 가지다), adverb errors (‘같이/함께’), English-influenced expressions, plural marker errors (‘-들’), connective ending errors (‘-(으)러’), tense errors, pronoun and speech level errors (‘저/제’ and ‘-아/어/해요’), sentence ending errors (‘-이에요/예요’), conjunctive particle errors (‘하고’), and particle errors. Conclusion: The study revealed significant interference from the learners' primary language, English, in various areas such as vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. These errors occurred due to the application of English rules and systems to Korean and were prominent due to differences in vocabulary, grammar, word order, and pronunciation between English and Korean.
