중대재해처벌법 시행에 따른 물류사업장 내 안전의식수준 차이에 대한 연구

Levels of Safety Consciousness in Logistics Workplaces Due to Enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act

2022년 1월 27일부터 현재 중대재해처벌법이 시행되고 있으나, 사업장에서 안전관리 미비로 인하여 중대한 사고가 꾸준히 발생하고 있다. 물류현장에서는 준수해야할 사항들이 많고 안전관리 인력확보가 어렵다는 이유로 여전히 안전수칙 준수에 소홀한 실정이다. 사고발생을 예방하기 위해서는 업무에 참여하는 이해관계자들(관리자 및 근로자)의 산업안전에 대한 중요성 인식이 가장 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 물류안전사고 증가에 따른 물류센터 내 근로자들의 안전의식 수준에 변화가 있는지 확인하고자 대기업 L사 및 파트너사를 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 연도별, 사업장별로 사업장 내, 관리자, 근로자의 안전의식 수준에 변화가 존재하는지 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 연도에 따른 사업장 내 안전의식수준, 관리자 및 근로자 안전의식수준은 모두 유의한 차이를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사업장의 종류에 따라서는 관리자의 안전의식수준만이 집단 간에 유의한 차이를 보였다.

Purpose: This study examines whether the rise in logistics safety incidents has led to changes in workers’ safety awareness levels in distribution centers. Research design, data, and methodology: A t-test determined if there were changes in the safety awareness levels of managers and workers, analyzed by year and workplace. Results: The level of safety consciousness in the workplace and the level of safety consciousness in managers and workers according to the year, all showed significant differences. In addition, depending on the type of workplace, only the safety consciousness levels of managers showed significant differences between the groups. Conclusions: This study reviewed empirical analysis of the levels of awareness about logistics safety (in workplaces, managers, and workers) and presents theoretical conclusions and practical implications.
