The Motivation, Practice and Inspiration of Improving Party Conduct and Building a Clean Government in the Yan’an Period

To remain clean, honest and upright is the foundation of the Communist Party of China, and to persistently promote the construction of clear politics, clean government and build a clean team is the principle to follow and the goal of the Communist Party of China to unswervingly promote the construction of clean and honest Party conduct. The Yan'an period is an important period in the Party's history, during which the Communist Party of China, through a series of initiatives to improve Party conduct and build a clean government, forged a team of Party members with a good style, a good image, and trustworthiness, and laid the foundation for the new regime. Since the 18th Party Congress, the Party Central Committee has unswervingly improved Party conduct and enforced Party discipline, and we have achieved an overwhelming victory in our fight against corruption. What needs to be clear is that the last leg of a journey marks the halfway point, the current situation in the combat corruption is still serious and complex. In the New Era, retrospecting the practice of Party conduct and building a clean government and its experience in the Yan’an period is of great theoretical and practical significance for deeply improving Party conduct and building a clean government and combating corruption under new circumstances.

清正廉洁是中国共产党人的立业之本，持之以恒推进清明政治、清廉政府、清正队伍建设是中国共产党始终不渝推动党风廉政建设的原则遵循和目标指向。延安时期是党历史上承前启后的重要时期，这一时期，中国共产党通过一系列党风廉政建设举措，锻造了一支作风好、形象佳、信得过的党员队伍，为新生政权奠定了基础。党的十八大以来，党中央坚定不移正风肃纪，反腐败斗争已然取得压倒性胜利。需要清楚的是，行百里者半九十，当前反腐败斗争形势依然严峻复杂。新时代回溯延安时期党风廉政建设的实践及其经验，对于深入推进新形势下党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争具有重要的理论和现实意义。
