공공도서관 이용자의 인식조사 연구 - 포천시를 중심으로

A study on user perception survey for public library : Focusing on Pocheon

본 연구는 포천시 지역주민들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 포천시 공공도서관 중장기 발전을 위한 기초자료로 활용하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 향후 포천시 중장기 발전을 위한 시사점과 발전 방안들을 제시하였다. 첫째, 전반적인 도서관 이용 만족도는 높게 나타났지만 서비스 만족을 위한 사서 인력 충원이 필요하다. 둘째, 도서관의 이용자 만족도는 시설과 환경적인 측면에서 대체적으로 만족하고 있지만 도서관 접근성 향상을 위한 개선이 필요하다. 셋째, 도서관의 다양한 프로그램을 운영하기 위한 서비스와 기능이 제공되어야 한다. 넷째, 프로그램 개발 및 운영을 위한 예산 확보, 도서관 인프라 확충, 도서관 프로그램의 다양성 등의 제공이 필요하다. 마지막으로 온라인 서비스 강화, 지역사회와의 협력, 창의성 공간 강화 등을 통해 이용자 만족도를 높일 수 있는 다각적인 개선 방안 모색이 필요하다.

This study was conducted for the purpose of conducting a survey on local residents of Pocheon City and using it as basic data for establishing a mid- to long-term development plan for the public library in Pocheon City. Based on the survey results conducted in this study, implications and development plans for the establishment of a mid- to long-term development plan in the future were presented. First, although the overall satisfaction with library use was high, it is necessary to increase librarian manpower to satisfy service satisfaction. Second, although user satisfaction in libraries is generally satisfied in terms of facilities and environment, improvement is needed to improve library accessibility. Third, services and functions for operating various programs of the library must be provided. Fourth, it is necessary to secure a budget for program development and operation, expand library infrastructure, and provide diversity in library programs. Finally, it is necessary to find various improvement measures that can increase user satisfaction through reinforcement of online services, cooperation with local communities, and reinforcement of creativity spaces.
