신체활동 중심의 STEP 프로그램이 중도중복장애학생 부모의 양육스트레스에 미치는 효과

The Effects of Physical Activity-Based STEP Program on Parenting Stress of Parents of Students With Severe and Multiple Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 신체활동 중심의 STEP 프로그램이 중도중복장애학생 부모의 양육스트레스에 미치는 효과를 그 하위요인인 부모 고통, 역기능적 상호작용, 까다로운 아동을 중심으로 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 주장애가 지체장애이고, 수반 장애는 청각장애, 지적장애, 정서·행동장애 및 의사소통장애를 지닌 중도중복장애학생 부모 20명을 대상으로 실험연구를 실시하였다. 그리고 기술통계, 구형성 검증, 실험 효과성의 검증 절차를 진행하였고, 이 모든 자료는 SPSS 27.0(win)을 적용하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 신체활동 중심의 STEP 프로그램은 중도중복장애학생 부모의 부모 고통 영역을 감소시킨다. 둘째, 신체활동 중심의 STEP 프로그램은 중도중복장애학생 부모의 역기능적 상호작용 영역을 감소시킨다. 셋째, 신체활동 중심의 STEP 프로그램은 중도중복장애학생 부모의 까다로운 아동 영역을 감소시킨다. 결론: 도출된 연구결과를 토대로 신체활동 중심의 STEP 프로그램이 중도중복장애학생 부모의 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대한 교육적인 함의와 후속 연구에 대해 제언을 하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of physical activity-based STEP program on parenting stress of the parents of students with severe and multiple disabilities, focusing on their parental distress, dysfunctional interaction, difficult child which were the subfactors. Methods: To achieve the purpose of this study, the experimental study was conducted on twenty parents of students with severe and multiple disabilities, having physical disability as a main disability with a hearing impairment, intellectual disability, emotional behavioral disorder, or communication disorder. And the experimental design of the repeated measurement of a single group was applied. In addition, descriptive statistics, sphericity tests, and treatment effectiveness verification procedures were conducted. SPSS 27.0 (win) was utilized for data analysis. Results: First, the physical activity-based STEP program reduced the factor of parental distress of parents of students with severe and multiple disabilities. Second, the physical activity-based STEP program reduced the factor of dysfunctional interaction of parents of students with severe and multiple disabilities. Third, the physical activity-based STEP program reduced the factor of difficult child of parents of students with severe and multiple disabilities. Conclusion: Based on the derived results, educational implications and future research on the effect of physical activity-based STEP program on the parents of students with severe and multiple disabilities were suggested.
