『적천수천미』 특징 고찰 - 大勢論을 중심으로

A Study on the Characteristics of the Ditiansuichanwei (滴天髓闡微) : Focusing on the General Trend Theory

본 논문은 『적천수천미』 구조의 특징으로 비월령인 ‘大勢論’을 중심으로 한 ‘中和論’ 및 ‘氣象과 世德’을 고찰한 것이다. 『적천수천미』는 자평평리학의 월령을 중심으로 한 격국과 용신에 의한 看命법이 아니다. 사주전체 오행의 기세에 따른 비월령에 의한 탄력적인 간명으로 이루어진 현대적 감각의 명리서이다. 따라서 비월령에 의한 명리간명의 이론적 배경, 『적천수천미』의 구조와 특징, 『적천수천미』의 대세론과 그 영향 등에 대한 논증으로 구성 하였다. 특징은 첫째 『주역』의 64괘를 본떠서 통신과 육친을 두 가지 강령으로 삼고 64장으로 나눈 ‘중화론’이다. 둘째 ｢順逆｣의 유기 원주에서 ‘강과 유의 도리는 순응해야 하고 거슬러서는 안 되니, 崑崙의 물은 순응해야 하고 거슬러서는 안 된다.’는 구절을 참작한 듯 ｢性情｣에서 ‘崑崙의 水는 곤륜산에서 발원하니 그 세력이 호탕하여 막을 수 없으므로, 다만 그 성정에 순응해야 한다.’고 하여, ‘崑崙之水’에 비유하여 대부분의 장에서 논한 ‘대세론이다. 셋째, 命을 간명함에는 ‘세덕의 心田’이 첫 번째이고, ‘산천’이 두 번째이고, ‘命의 격국’이 세 번째라고 하여 ‘氣象과 世德’을 논한 것이다. 이 세 특징은 모두 비월령에 의한 간명의 구조로 되어 있으나, 대부분의 장을 점하고 있는 것은 역시 ‘대세론’이다. 선행 도서나 연구 논문이 없는데다 아직 명리 지식이 미숙하여 그 진가를 제대로 논증하지 못한 것이 아닌가 하는 우려가 남으나 이후 이 논문이 『적천수천미』의 재조명에 단초가 될 것을 기대한다.

This paper focuses on the ‘general trend theory (大勢論)’ as well as the ‘theory of mean harmony (中和論)’, ‘force condition (氣象) and hidden benefactions (世德)’, which are characteristic of the structure of the Ditiansuichanwei. The Ditiansuichanwei is not about the way to see the destiny by geju (格局; formal confinement), yongshen (用神; utilization of the spirit) centered on the lunar phase in the studies of destiny principles of Xuziping (徐子平), but a modern book composed of a flexible view of destiny through the non-lunar phase. Therefore, this paper consists of demonstrations about the theoretical background in viewing destiny through the non-lunar phase, the structure and features of the Ditiansuichanwei, and the ‘mainstream theory’ and influence of the Ditiansuichanwei. The first topic is the ‘theory of mean harmony,’ which took tongshen (通神) and liuqin (六親) as two main principles by being modeled after the 64 guas (卦; trigram) of the Book of Change and divided them into 64 chapters. The second topic is the ‘general trend theory,’ which was discussed in most chapters, compared with the stream from the Kunlun (崑崙) mountains like in the sentence ‘Since the water originates from Mt. Kunlun, its power cannot be prevented.’ The third topic is the ‘force condition (氣象) and hidden benefactions (世德).’ All three topics form the structure of viewing destiny through the non-lunar phase, but they also comprise the ‘mainstream theory.’
