함안향교와 서산서원의 風水學的 考察 - 『양택삼요』와 『현공풍수』, 『낙씨애성법』을 中心으로

A study on the Feng shui of Hamanhyanggyo and Seosan Seowon : on the center 『Yangtaeksamyo』,『Hyeongong feng shui』 and 『Naksiaesung』

본 연구는 경상남도 함안군에 위치한 함안향교와 서산서원을 풍수학적으로 고찰하는 것이 주목적이다. 함안향교와 서산서원에 대하여 새로운 활용방안의 시기를 풍수학적으로 모색해 보고 조선시대 교육의 장으로서 역할과 현 시대 교육의 장으로서 역할에 대하여 생각해 보는 계기가 되기를 바란다. 또한 풍수학적 입지와 방위 그리고 시기에 연구중점을 두는 것은 풍수학이 인간의 삶에서 그리고 미래를 위한 교육의 현장에서 얼마나 적용되고 활용될 수 있는지의 가능성을 알아보기 위함이기도 하다. 이를 위하여 양택 풍수에 속하는 함안향교와 서산서원에 대하여 먼저 형기적인 특징을 관찰하고 정리하였으며, 이기적인 고찰로는 『양택삼요』와 『현공풍수』 ,『낙씨애성법』을 이용하여 답산 한 내용을 근거로 논술 하였다. 그리고 이상의 풍수학적 고찰을 근거로 향후 함안향교와 서산서원에 대하여 새로운 활용방안을 모색해보고자 한다. 여러 이기풍수 이론들 중에서도 특히나 『현공풍수』와 『낙씨애성법』을 적용한 것은 풍수학적 판단에 대한 정확성을 높이기 위한 하나의 방편 이었다. 오래 동안 소홀히 관리된 함안향교와 서산서원을 풍수학적 고찰을 통하여 재평가 하고 지역사회에서 평생교육의 장소로서 다시 활용될 수 있다면 함안향교와 서산서원은 아주 훌륭한 공간으로 새로운 생명을 얻게 될 것이다. 역사의 시간성과 현재의 시간성이 공존하는 양택 건물과 전통으로 이어져 내려온 문화가 가득한 공간들을 다시 지역사회에서 공유한다면 더할 나위 없이 의미 있는 장소가 될 것이라고 생각된다. 아울러 전국에 방치되고 있는 향교와 서원들은 지역 특색에 맞게 전통문화와 인성교육의 장으로 다시 활용되기를 바라본다.

The main purpose of this study is to examine Hamanhyanggyo and Seosanseowon located in Haman-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do from a feng shui perspective. It is hoped that it will serve as an opportunity to explore the time of new application methods for Hamanhyanggyo and Seosanseowon in a feng shui way, and to think about the role of education in the Joseon Dynasty and the role of education in the present era. In addition, the focus of research on the location, direction and time of feng shui aims to find out about the possibility of how much feng shui can be applied and utilized in human life and in the field of education for the future. To this end, the form and atmospheric features of Hamanhyanggyo and Seosanseowon, which belong to Yangtaek Feng shui, were first observed and organized, and Lichi theory was based on the content answers of the visit to the mountains using 『Yangtaek Samyo』 , 『Hyeongong feng shui』 and 『Naksiaesung』. In addition, based on the above feng shui study, I would like to explore new ways to utilize Haman Hyanggyo and Seosan Seowon in the future. Among the various theories of Lichi feng shui, the application of 『hyeongong feng shui』 and 『Naksiaesung』 was a way to increase the accuracy of feng shui judgments. If Hamanhyanggyo and Seosanseowon, which have been neglected for a long time, are reevaluated through a feng shui study and can be reused as places of lifelong education in the local community, Hamanhyanggyo and Seosanseowon will have a new life as a wonderful space. It is thought that it would be an indispensable place in terms of a meaningful place if the local community shares the spaces full of culture that have been handed down through tradition and the Yangtaek-style building where the time of history and the present time coexist. In addition, we hope that Hyanggyo and Seowon, which are neglected nationwide, will be reused as a venue for traditional culture and character education according to local characteristics.
