안전취약계층의 생활안전사고 특성에 관한 연구

The Characteristics of Everyday Life Safety Incidents among Vulnerable Groups

최근 기후변화, 고령화 등의 사회적 변화로 일상생활에서 발생하는 예기치 못한 안전사고 문제가 국민적 관심사로 대두되고 있다. 이때 안전취약계층은 사고 대응능력이 상대적으로 취약하여 피해가 악화될 수 있으므로 이들을 위한 안전 지원대책 마련이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 안전취약계층의 생활안전사고 발생 원인을 살펴보는데 주안점을 두며, 세부적으로는 생활안전사고의 공간적, 시계열적, 변인별 발생 특성을 파악하고자 한다. 그 결과, 생활안전사고의 일반적 발생 특성을 확인하였으며, 시공간적으로 특성이 구분되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 안전취약계층을 대상으로 세분화한 경우, 생활안전사고 발생 특성은 연령에 따라 유형화될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 안전취약계층의 일상생활 속 사고 예방 및 안전지원 정책을 마련하는데 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

As society diversifies, everyday life safety incidents have emerged as a major social concern. Consequently, support measures for vulnerable groups who are less capable of responding to such accidents are increasingly necessary. This study is intended to diagnose the causes of everyday life safety incidents among vulnerable groups and establish preventive measures by analyzing the spatial, temporal, and variable characteristics of these accidents. The study’s findings reveal distinct spatial patterns and monthly and hourly trends in the occurrence of everyday life safety incidents, with a significant relationship between the age of the vulnerable persons and the accident type. The results of this study are expected to 1) contribute to the development of preventive measures tailored to different vulnerable groups and 2) inform regional safety policies.
