철도역사 승강장 안전기준 개선방안에 관한 연구

Improvement of Safety Standards for Railway Station Platforms

본 연구는 국내·외 철도역사 승강장의 화재안전기준을 비교 분석하고, 충청도 내 연면적 5,000 m2 이상 철도역사 승강장의 소방시설 설치 현황을 조사하였다. 그 결과 철도역사의 설치 위치, 승강장의 개방 유무, 가연물의 양 등이 고려된 개선된 소방시설 설치기준이 필요하였고, 승강장에 설치하는 소방시설 설치기준을 명확히하고 좀 더 강화할 필요성이 있었다. 또한 개방된 부분이 없는 지하역사 승강장에 화재발생 시 대피가 어려운 휠체어 장애인을 위한 피난용 엘리베이터 설치를 제안하였다.

This study compares and analyzes the fire safety standards of both domestic and international railway station platforms by investigating the installation status of fire protection facilities in platforms with a total floor area of over 5,000 m2 in the Chungcheong region. The existing fire protection facilities require improvement in their standards by taking into account various factors, such as the location of railway stations, openness of platforms, and amount of combustible materials. The installation standards for fire protection facilities on platforms must be clearly defined and reinforced. Additionally, the installation of evacuation elevators is required for wheelchair users on underground station platforms without any open areas, as this would facilitate easy evacuation in the event of a fire.
