目的论视角下文化负载词英译研究——以《红高粱家族》葛浩文译本为例

A study of English translation of culture-loaded words from the perspective of Skopos Theory : Take the translation of Red Sorghum Family by Goldblatt as an example

Chinese culture going global is closely related to the translation of literary works. However, translators often encounter a big problem when translating literary works: the translation of culture-loaded words, the success of which determines the smooth spread of Chinese culture in the Western world to a large extent, so the study of culture-loaded words is of great significance. The author finds that most of the culture-loaded words in Goldblatt's translation of Red Sorghum are worthy of learning and reference. But there are still some mistakes in some places, such as the total or partial loss of cultural information. This paper hopes to point out and analyze these mistakes so that translators can avoid similar mistakes in the future and provide references for the translation of culture-loaded words.

中国文化走出去与文学作品翻译息息相关。但译者在翻译文学作品时往往会遇到一大难题：即文化负载词的翻译，其翻译的成功与否很大程度决定了中国文化能否在西方世界顺利传播，因此对于文化负载词的研究极具意义。笔者发现，葛浩文在翻译《红高粱》中的大部分文化负载词都值得大家学习和借鉴。但在某些地方仍存在一些失误，如源于文化信息全部丢失或部分丢失。本文希望指出并分析这些失误，在今后可以让译者避免类似的失误，为文化负载词的翻译提供参考与借鉴。
