多模态话语分析视角下的手游本地化翻译策略研究——以“绝地求生”为例

With the acceleration of globalization and the popularization of mobile Internet, the mobile game market is becoming increasingly prosperous, and the importance of localized translation of mobile games is becoming increasingly prominent. Mobile game localization translation is not only a simple language conversion, but also a complex process involving culture, technology, market and other aspects. Especially under the guidance of multimodal translation theory, mobile game localization translation has ushered in new opportunities and challenges. This paper aims to explore the localization translation strategies of mobile games from the perspective of multimodal discourse analysis, and take the popular mobile game “PUBG” as an example to deeply analyze its localization translation practices under different cultural, linguistic and technological backgrounds. This research is expected to provide useful reference and inspiration for the localization translation field of mobile games. To promote the application and development of multimodal discourse analysis in mobile game localization translation practice.
