The construction of new disciplines primarily focuses on promoting innovation, integration, and sustainable development in the course of academic progress. Against the backdrop of new disciplines, this provides a new development opportunity for advancing the reform of foreign language education in Chinese universities. It is of significant importance in helping university foreign language education overcome current challenges and achieve innovative and integrated growth. This paper conducts an in-depth study and analysis of foreign language education reform in universities under the context of new disciplines. Based on practical conditions, it proposes scientifically sound and reasonable suggestions to promote the progress of foreign language education in China. Furthermore, it aims to establish a new model of interdisciplinary talent cultivation—“Foreign Language + X”—which fully optimizes the level of talent training. The goal is to play an active role in contributing to the development of Chinese higher education and laying a solid foundation for talent cultivation in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
新学科的建设,主要是在学科发展过程中,注意促进其实现创新、融合以及可持续发展。基于新学科这一背景,给我国大学外语教育改革工作的落实,提供了新的发展契机,对帮助我国大学外语教育突破当前的困境,实现创新及融合发展,具有非常重要的意义。本文对新学科背景下大学外语教育改革进行深入的研究和分析,并结合实际情况,提出科学合理的建议,为推动我国大学外语教育的发展进步,打造“外语+X”的复合型人才培养新模式,全面优化人才培养水平,发挥积极的作用,也为建设中国特色社会主义,奠定坚实的人才培养基础。
