Research on Image Scheduling Based on “Tolerance” and “Release” : Take Ang Lee’s Films Sense and Sensibility and Brokeback Mountain as Examples

In the artistic creation of film, the balance and restraint of the Eastern style are regarded as the aesthetic tendency and the cultivation of directors. Specific to the film operation level, the matching image scheduling is especially valued by the creators and viewers. There is such a quality in Ang Lee’s temperament, kindly, combined with his past experience, his creation is also a gradual process of self-deconstruction. This paper focuses on the narrative, expression and rhetoric in Sense and Sensibility and Brokeback Mountain, explores the meaning of the director’s interpretation in the films, and tries to identify the reasons and paths of Ang Lee’s “tolerance” and “release” emotions in image control.
