공연 분야 전문인력 양성 사례로 살펴본 국악 분야 전문인력 양성의 흐름과 개선방안 연구

A Study on an Improvement Plan for Training Professionals in the Gugak Field through Cases of Training Professionals in the fields of Performing Arts

본 연구의 목적은「국악진흥법」에서 명시하고 있는 국악 및 국악문화산업 전문인력 양성을 위한 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 1950년대 정규 교육과정으로서의 국악 분야 인력이 육성되기 시작한 이래로 국악 분야는 줄곧 실기인을 양성하기 위한 교육에 몰두해왔다. 그러나 국악 분야를 둘러싼 공연예술시장 환경의 변화와 국악을 졸업한 인력이 더 이상 실기인으로서 사회 진출이 어려워진 시대에 직면하게 되었다. 더불어「국악진흥법」의 제정을 계기로 국악문화산업 분야와 관련된 전문인력의 양성이 무엇보다 중요해지게 되었다. 기획·홍보·마케팅·무대기술·유통 등 다양한 분야에서 전문적인 역량을 쌓은 인력이 국악 분야에서도 필요하게 된 것이다. 본 연구는 그동안 국악 분야의 인력양성 정책이 진행되어 온 흐름을 통해 문제점을 도출하고, 국악이 포함된 공연예술 분야에서의 전문인력 양성 방안 사례를 분석하여 국악 분야로의 적용 가능성을 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 국악 및 국악문화산업 분야에서 요구되는 전문인력을 양성하기 위한 개선방안에 대하여 제안해보고자 한다.

This study aims to seek plans for training professionals in gugak and gugak culture industry as specified in the “Gugak Promotion Act.” Since the 1950s when human resources in the gugak field began to be trained through a regular education course, the gugak field has always focused on training performers. However, the field has faced an era in which the environment of the performing arts market surrounding the gugak field has changed and it has become difficult for those who major in gugak to make social contributions as performers. In addition, with the enactment of the “Gugak Promotion Act,” the training of professionals related to the field of gugak culture industry has become more important than ever. Those with professional capabilities in various fields such as planning, public relations, marketing, stage technology, and distribution are now needed in the gugak field. This study identifies problems through the flow of the training policies for human resources in the gugak field, analyzes cases of development plans for professionals in the fields of performing arts including gugak, and then examines the possibility of their application to the gugak field. Based on it, it proposes improvement plans to train professionals required in the gugak and gugak culture industry.
