The Development of Chinese Economy and Response of Korean Economy

This study analyses the characteristics on development of chinese economy and economic relationship between Korea and china, therefore, this study is going to suggest some directions and policies to Korean Economy against China. Under the policy of economic reform and open door, China has become one of the world's major economic powers with the greatest potential. The Chinese government strengthened and improved its macro-control and China's economy maintained its steady and rapid growth into the 21st century. During the past fifteen years after the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and China in 1992. China has risen as the largest trade and investment partner of Korea. China's high growth is both an opportunity and a challenge for Korean Economy. Because there will be much business chance, however, at the same time there will also be much competition. So to take advantage of this opportunity, and to keep competitiveness against China, Korea need to establish an more progressive and long-term strategies for trade and investment in China and World.
