중국 현대 도자 오브제에 나타난 시성(诗性)적 표현 연구

A Study on the Poetic Expression in Contemporary Chinese Ceramic Objects

시가(诗歌) 예술은 깊고 오랜 역사와 고유한 체계를 가지고 있으며, 여러 다른 예술과 서로 영향을끼쳐왔다. 요세프 브로드스키(Joseph Brodsky)1)는‘시가는 예술의 한 형식이라기보다 시가가 종종 차용하는 일종의 형식이 바로 예술이다.’라고 했다. 시성(诗性)은 시가의 특징과 속성에서 비롯되었으며, 중국의 유서 깊은 전통문화에 뿌리를 두고 시대의 발전에 따라 동서양의 문화를 융합하며 과학과 인문정신을 잇고 동시에 수용하며 발전해왔다. 본 연구는 시성의 개념과 의미를 고찰해보는 것에서 시작하여 현대 중국을 대표하는 도예가들의 작품을 분석하고, 중국 현대 도자 오브제 창작에서 시성의 표현에 대해 연구한다. 또 중국 현대 도자 오브제에서 시성이 형성되는 여러 원인을 다양한 차원에서 분석하고, 나아가 시성의 심미적 관점에서 향후 중국 도자예술의 발전 방향에 대해서도 알아본다.

Poetry art has a deep, long history and unique system, and has influenced many other arts. Joseph Brodsky said, “A poetry is not a form of art, but rather a form that poetry often borrows is art.” Poetry originated from the characteristics and attributes of poetry, and has been rooted in China's historic traditional culture, and has developed by combining the cultures of the East and the West with the development of the times, connecting science and the humanities spirit and accepting them at the same time. This study starts by examining the concept and meaning of poetry, analyzing the works of potters representing modern China, and studying the expression of poetry in the creation of modern Chinese ceramic objects. It also analyzes the causes of the formation of poetry in modern Chinese ceramic objects from various dimensions, and further examines the direction of future development of Chinese ceramic art from the aesthetic perspective of poetry.
