This study aims to explore the changes in interpersonal trust patterns in the context of China's social transformation, as well as the new requirements for rebuilding a trustworthy personality in civic education, in order to provide reference for current ideological and political educators. Through literature analysis and observation of social reality, the different characteristics of traditional and modern interpersonal trust models were revealed. Research has found that the traditional Chinese social trust model based on human feelings is based on trust in personal relationships and emotions, relying on individuals' moral consciousness and the maintenance of social public opinion. The trust model in modern society is reflected as a universal interpersonal trust model, which is a social network, norm, and trust generated in the process of citizen communication. On this basis, it is proposed that civic education that cultivates citizens' integrity personality can combine the practical rationality dimension based on correct understanding of self-interest orientation with the value rationality dimension based on moral pursuit to adapt to this social transformation.
