현재 디지털 사회로의 이동은 초고속으로 진행되고 있고 디지털 리터러시 교육의필요성은 높아지고 있다.그러나 아직 우리나라 대학의 디지털 리터러시 교육은 문해력에 초점을 맞춘 글쓰기 영역의 수업이 가장 많은 비중을 차지하는 것으로 나타난다. 이에 본 연구는 디지털 사회에서의 인간과 사회에 대한 정보를 제대로 찾고 분석하며, 미래와 연결된 사회적 문제 해결 능력을 갖춘 인재 양성을 목표로 하는 사회과학 영역에서의 디지털 리터러시 교육의 필요성을 제기하며 출발한다.이를 위해 세계적으로널리 사용되는 디지털 역량 프레임워크 중 하나인DigComp프레임워크 2.2의 구성요소와 교육철학을 기본 틀로 학부 학생들을 위한 디지털 리터러시 과목을 개발하였다.이러한 수업모델을 바탕으로,단계별 수업과정 및 학생들의 과제 결과물 등을 포함하여 한 학기 동안 진행했던 수업 사례를 구체적으로 공유하였다.이러한 시도는 협의의 디지털 문해력을 넘어 보다 포괄적인 디지털 리터러시 교육을 위한 기초자료와다양한 학문 분과에서 시도할 수 있는 디지털 리터러시 수업에 대한 모형을 제공하는일이 될 것이다.
The transition to a digital society is advancing at an unprecedented rate, necessitating an increased focus on digital literacy education. However, digital literacy education in Korean universities remains largely concentrated on writing courses that emphasize traditional literacy skills. In light of this, the current study highlights the need for digital literacy education within the social sciences, aiming to develop individuals capable of effectively locating and analyzing information related to humans and society within the digital context while equipping them to address future societal challenges. To achieve this, we developed a digital literacy course for undergraduate students based on the components and educational philosophy of the DigComp Framework 2.2, one of the most widely used digital competence frameworks. This study presents specific cases from a semester-long course, outlining the step-by-step instructional process and highlighting the outcomes of student assignments. This initiative offers foundational data for advancing digital literacy education beyond its narrow definition and provides a model for digital literacy courses that can be applied across various academic disciplines.
