The Structural Relationship among Self-Leadership, Positive Psychological Capital, and Innovative Behavior of University Students Major in Taekwondo Demonstration Team

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship among self-leadership, positive psychological capital, and innovative behavior of university students major in taekwondo demonstration team. In order to achieve this, a sample of 390 university students major in taekwondo demonstration players was by using purposive sampling method selected from the Seoul, Gyeonggi and Inchen area. Data acquired from 37 university students major in taekwondo demonstration players were excluded due to inconsistency in their responses. Therefore, the data of 353 people was used for a final analysis. For data processing, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling were performed using SPSS 23.0 and Amos 23.0 programs. First, self-leadership was found to had a positive(+) effect on positive psychological capital. Second, self-leadershipdid not have an effect on innovative behavior. Third, positive psychological capital was found to had a positive(+) effect on innovative behavior. Lastly, positive psychological capital had a full mediation effect on the self-leadership between innovative behavior.
