The Establishment of Correct Taekwondo Game Terminology and Educational Plans

The study came to the following conclusions were through literature review of previous studies as a correct taekwondo game technology terms and educational plan. First, education for the unification and refinement of technical terms in taekwondo competitions must be administered urgently to parents, leaders, and athletes of taekwondo. Second, the Kukkiwon Taekwondo Research Institute must first develop a unified guide for the correct usage of taekwondo terms. Third, the education on the use of correct Taekwondo terms will be reinforced in education provided by each city and provincial association on competition rules and Poomsae training. Fourth, Kukkiwon needs to provide regular education for the use of unified Taekwondo terms to leaders in charge of Taekwondo guidance, such as university professors, teachers dispatched overseas, and military Taekwondo instructors.
