간호대학생들이 인식하는 ESG: 내용분석을 통한 적용

Study on Nursing Students’ Perception of ESG : Applying Content Analysis Methodology

Purpose : This study aims to explore Korean nursing students' perceptions of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and to analyze how these perceptions may relate to nursing ethics and practice. Methods : This content analysis study targeted 125 nursing students enrolled in five universities across Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong provinces. The survey was conducted from June 27 to July 27, 2024, to assess their perception of ESG. Results : The analysis of perspectives on ESG revealed 23 significant statements across four domains, and identified 19 categories. Conclusion : As ESG has emerged as a core agenda in Korean universities, they are incorporating ESG management into their operations and expanding ESG-related courses. ESG education, regardless of academic year, fosters critical thinking and responsible behavior, contributing to character development. Universities are offering liberal arts courses on ESG that combine theory and practice and are introducing ESG certification systems, demonstrating that ESG is being applied in various ways.
