디지털 정부 서비스 UI/UX 가이드라인 적용을 통한 공공 웹 서비스 사용성 개선 효과 분석

Analysis of the Impact of Applying Digital Government Service UI/UX Guidelines on Public Web Service Usability Improvement

본 연구는 「디지털 정부 서비스 UI/UX 가이드라인」 기반으로 개선된 공공 웹 서비스의 사용성 검증을 목적으로 한다. 정부24 웹 서비스에 대한 「디지털 정부 서비스 UI/UX 가이드라인」 적용 전후의 A/B 테스트와 사용자 설문 조사를 통해 데이터를 수집했다. 분석 결과 가이드라인 적용 후 화면에서 마우스 클릭 수 감소는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았으나, 체류 시간이 감소하여 사용자는 목표를 더 빠르게 달성한 것으로 나타났다. 설문 조사 결과 탐색성, 가독성, 글자 크기 항목 모두 만족도가 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 「디지털 정부 서비스 UI/UX 가이드라인」에 따라 개선된 공공 웹 서비스의 사용성을 실증적으로 검증하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 향후 공공 웹 서비스 제작 시 사용성 개선에 대한 유용한 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

This study aims to validate the improved usability of public web services based on the 「Digital Government Service UI/UX Guidelines」. Data were collected through A/B testing and user surveys to compare the screens of the Government24 web service before and after applying the guidelines. The analysis revealed that the reduction in mouse clicks on the screen was not statistically significant. However, the decreased dwell time suggests that users achieved their goals more efficiently. Survey results indicated that satisfaction levels were significantly higher regarding navigability, readability, and font size. This study empirically verifies the usability of public web services improved through applying the Digital Government Service UI/UX Guidelines and offers practical insights for future usability enhancements in public web services.
