자율주행 환경에서 운전 스타일의 Fine-tuning 요소 연구

Research on Fine-tuning Factors of Driving Style in Autonomous Driving Environments

자율주행 기술이 고도화되면서 운전자는 점차 운전 노동으로부터 자유로워질 것으로 예상된다. 그러나 대다수의 운전자들은 자신만의 미묘한 스타일을 가지고 운전을 하기 때문에, 운전 행위가 사라진다면 자신만의 스타일을 운전에 적용하는 데에 어려움이 생길 것이다. 현재 자율주행 시스템에서도 차간 거리, 속도 등을 사용자가 직접 설정하여 주행 상황을 컨트롤할 수 있지만, 미묘하고 일시적인 상황에서의 운전스타일의 fine-tuning 요소들은 적용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자율주행 환경에서도 운전 스타일의 적용이 용이하도록 Heuristic Research와 Focus Group Interview를 통해 fine-tuning 요소를 규명하고 유형화하는 과정을 거쳤다. 운전 context에 따라 유형화된 fine-tuning 요소들을 통해, 자율주행 상황에서도 운전자의 개인적인 취향과 상황에 맞게 운전 스타일을 fine-tuning할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

As autonomous driving technology advances, drivers are expected to be freed from the labor of driving. However, most drivers have their own style, and if the act of driving disappears, it will be difficult to apply their personal style to their driving. Even in the current autonomous driving system, users can control the driving situation by setting the distance between cars, speed, etc. but it is difficult to apply fine-tuning elements of driving style in subtle and temporary situations. Therefore, this study identifies and categorizes fine-tuning factors through heuristic research and focus group interviews to facilitate driving style application in autonomous environments. With the fine-tuning factors categorized by driving context, it is expected that the driving style can be fine-tuned to suit the driver's personal preferences and circumstances.
