메타버스를 활용한 학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 발표 교육 연구

A Study on Presentation Education for Korean Language Learners using Metaverse for Academic Purposes

The purpose of this study is to explore the educational use of ‘ZEP,’ a metaverse platform, to enhance the presentation skills of academic-purpose learners. This study involved 30 academic learners from B University in Busan, and analyzed their satisfaction with ZEP-based presentation classes and the changes in their presentation efficacy before and after the sessions. Results showed that learners’ satisfaction with ZEP presentation classes exceeded “4 = satisfied,” and significant improvements were observed in all sub-factors of presentation efficacy, including presentation skills, recognition, pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, grammar, and discourse context. The metaverse can provide an alternative that offers new educational opportunities, as it enables presentation training beyond the limitations of time and space. This study is significant in that it demonstrated the practical application of the metaverse as an effective educational tool for enhancing the presentation efficacy of academic-purpose learners.
