Although Korean Healthy Cities Partnership(KHCP) was established in 2006, the first common theme ‘Making Active Living Environment’ was launched in 2016. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the second common theme ‘Responding Climate Change’ was subsequently launched. Using surveys and consulting with member cities, we developed vision, goal, strategies and indicators. The vision is ‘Sustainable Healthy Cities People and Planet Coexists’ and the goal is to establish climate change resilience and equitable Healthy cities system. Strategies are establishing city environments addressing climate change, enforcing resilient city health system and participatory partnership. Sustainable leading of common themes of KHCP are more urgent through capacity building of member cities especially in these critical periods to prevent climate crisis.
