The Use of Linguistic Landscapes in International Chinese Language Teaching

As a new direction of sociolinguistic research in recent years, linguistic landscape has become the focus of attention in linguistics, and some scholars’ research has proved that linguistic landscape can be used as an effective tool for language teaching. At the same time, with the rapid development of China, the group of Chinese language learners is growing, and it has become a top priority to explore effective teaching methods and apply them in international Chinese language teaching. Based on this, this paper takes the research on linguistic landscape as the basis. It analyses the possibility of combining linguistic landscape with international Chinese language teaching, starting from the characteristics of linguistic landscape.
