“Yiwu Development Experience”: Connotation and Implications, Brilliant Achievements, and Practical Enlightenment

The “Yiwu Development Experience” is a vivid embodiment of the essence and core of the “1988 Strategy”, one of the models of reform and innovation in counties in my country, a program to guide Yiwu’s long-term reform and development, and a requirement for implementing the “Four Comprehensives” strategic layout and the “Five Development Concepts”. In the nearly 20 years of practicing the “Yiwu Development Experience”, Yiwu has adhered to the overall leadership of the Party, promoted the excellent traditional Chinese culture, continuously deepened reforms, continued to expand opening up, and achieved a series of brilliant results. Yiwu’s development has very profound experience and enlightenment. Yiwu adheres to the overall leadership of the Party, adheres to promoting comprehensive and coordinated development with economic construction as the center, respects the people’s pioneering spirit, improves the level of cultural governance based on cultural construction, and solidly promotes the common prosperity of the people. Implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and giving new vitality to the “Yiwu Development Experience” will help promote the construction of Zhejiang's common prosperity demonstration zone and contribute to China’s construction of a socialist modern power.

“义乌发展经验”是“八八战略”精神实质和内核的生动体现，是我国县域改革创新的典范之一，是指引义乌长远改革发展的纲领，也是贯彻落实“四个全面”战略布局和“五大发展理念”的要求。在践行“义乌发展经验”近二十年历程中，义乌坚持党的全面领导，弘扬中华优秀传统文化，不断深化改革，持续扩大开放，取得一系列辉煌成果。义乌发展有着十分深刻的经验启示。义乌坚持党的全面领导，坚持以经济建设为中心推进全面协调发展，尊重群众首创精神，以文化建设为基础提升文化治理水平，扎实推动人民共同富裕。贯彻落实党的二十届三中全会精神，赋予“义乌发展经验”以新的活力，有助于推进浙江共同富裕示范区建设，为中国建设社会主义现代化强国作出贡献。
