The Effects of a Utilization Program with Modified Application Activities of Montessori Sensory Teaching Tools on Spatial Awareness Development in Early Childhood

연구 목적: 본 연구는 몬테소리감각교구의 변형과 응용활동 활용프로그램은 유아들의 공간감각 발달에 미치는 효과가 있는지 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 광주광역시에 위치한 사립유치원의 만5세 유아 30명을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구자와 유치원 정교사 2명이 12주간 교실에서 프로그램을 진행하며 유아들의 참여와 발달과정을 관찰하여 효과를 검증하였다. 연구 내용: 몬테소리감각교구 변형 응용활동 활용프로그램은 유아들의 공간감각 발달에 효과가 긍정적으로나타났다. 결론 및 제언: 이러한 결과는 유아교육 현장에서 몬테소리감각교구 변형 응용활동 활용프로그램의 지속적인 개발이 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a program for the use of modified and applied activities of Montessori sensory teaching aids to understand its effect on the development of spatial sense in early childhood. This study was conducted on 30 5-year-old children in a private kindergarten located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, and the researcher and two kindergarten teachers conducted the program in the classroom for 12 weeks and observed the participation and development of the early childhood to verify the effect. The Montessori Sensory Teaching Aid Transformation Activity Utilization Program has been shown to have a positive effect on the development of spatial sense in early childhood, These results suggest that there is a need for the continuous development of programs for the use of Montessori sensory teaching tools and modified activities in the field of early childhood education.
