Vocabulary plays a vital role in English learning. However, learners often face challenges such as passive inefficiency and difficulty integrating contextual elements in vocabulary acquisition. Outstanding works of traditional Chinese culture can provide learners with familiar and coherent contexts, promoting vocabulary learning through immersive appreciation of the works. Classical poetry aids vocabulary internalization through imagery and emotional resonance, classical novels offer scenarios for vocabulary usage through plots and characters, and fables and idioms deepen vocabulary understanding through their philosophy and cultural connotations.
词汇在英语学习中具有重要作用,学习者在词汇学习过程中存在着被动低效、情境性的融入等困难。中国传统文化优秀作品能够为学习者提供熟悉而完整的情景,令其在对于作品的沉浸式欣赏之中促进英语词汇的学习:通过古典诗词的意象与情感共鸣助力词汇内化;古典小说的情节与人物提供词汇使用场景;寓言与成语的哲理与文化内涵深化词汇理解。
